This temple was constructed on a triangular hillock and is one of the 51 Shakti Peeths of Sati. The temple can be reached on foot by stairs, or by road and then by climbing flight of steps. There is also a ropeway that can be used to reach the hilltop. After crossing the main entrance gate, you will notice a grand Peepal tree on the left side. Just opposite the tree, there are idols of Lord Ganesha and Lord Hanuman. Upon reaching the main temple, you will be greeted by two statues of lions. The inner sanctum of the temple has three idols- Kali Devi on the left, the Eyes of the Shakti in the middle, and Lord Ganesha on the right. The entire stretch leading up to the temple is lined with small shops that sell prasad and souvenirs. The temple attracts thousands of devotees and can be very crowded on auspicious Hindu days. This temple is among the most revered temples in the country. The eyes of Devi Sati fall at this place. After darshan drive towards Chintapurni Ji

Maa Chintapurni Dham is located is situated in Chhaparoh village on the hill of Solah Singhi range in Una district of Himachal Pradesh. Now this place is known by the name of Chintapurni. This place is one of the 51 Shakti Peeths. The feet of Mata Sati fell here. When Maa Sati, enraged by the insult of Shiva by her father, jumped into the sacrificial fire of her father King Daksha and sacrificed her life, then the angry Shiva roamed around the whole universe with her body. To calm Shiva's anger, Lord Vishnu broke the body of Mata Sati into pieces with his chakra. Wherever these pieces of the body fell on the earth, that place was called Shakti Peeth. This temple of Chintapurni Mata, that is, the goddess who fulfills worries, is very ancient. Devotees have immense faith in touching the  lotus feet of Mata.

Legend of Chintapurni Devi
It is said that Chintapurni Devi was discovered by devotee Mai Das. Mai Das was a resident of Atharnami village of Patiala state. He was a dedicated devotee of the mother. His worries were resolved by the mother coming in his dream. Just by seeing Chintapurni Devi once, one gets rid of all worries.

Chintapurni Devi  is also called Chhinnamastika Devi. According to Shri Markandeya Purana, when Mother Chandi won by killing the demons, to quench the thirst of blood of the mother's assistant yoginis Ajaya and Vijaya, she cut her head and quenched their thirst with her blood, hence the mother was named Chhinnamastika Devi. Later drive towards Jwala Ji for night stay.

Day 2

Jwala Ji - Brajeshwari Devi - Chamunda

In the morning visit Jwala Ji Shaktipeeth, it is a famous temple of Goddess Jawalamukhi located in the Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh. The primary deity worshipped here is believed to be the manifestation of the Goddess Sati with flaming mouth. Here Maa Bhagwati is present in the form of a Paawan Jyoti. Five Aartis are performed here regularly. During Chaitra Aswin Navratras and Shrawan Months there will be huge rush of devotees to this temple. Tuesdays and Fridays are very special and special poojas are performed here. Devotees are instructed that they should not carry the Halwa prasad from Maa Chintpurni Devi to Maa Jwala Devi, if they are visiting Maa Jwalaji after visiting Maa Chintpurni Devi.

Later we will drive towards Kangra and visit Shree Nagarkot Vajreshwari Devi Mandir or Mata Brajeshwari Devi Shaktipeeth; The primary deity worshipped here is Goddess Vajreshvari, the place is also known as Nagarkot Dham, where every pain and suffering of the devotees goes away just by seeing a glimpse of the Devi Mata.  The first and main pindi established in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple is of mother Bajreshwari. The second is of mother Bhadrakali and the third and the smallest pindi is of mother Ekadashi. It is the place where Dhyanu Bhakt offered his head to Devi Maa. Therefore, those devotees of the mother who are also followers of Dhyanu come to the temple wearing yellow clothes and consider themselves blessed by seeing and worshipping the mother.

The main festival celebrated here is Makar sakrantri, which comes on second week of January. According to legends, it is said that after killing Mahishasura, Devi had got some injuries and to heel those injuries Goddess had applied Butter on her body. Thus to mark this day, the Pindi of Goddess is covered with Butter and this festival is celebrated here for a week. Devotees can take this butter as it cures skin diseases.

After darshans we will visit Gupt Ganga Temple later visit Achhara Kund Temple which is also called the Fairy Place. According to locals it is a common belief that the fairies take bath in this Achhar Kund during Brahma muhurat. There is also a waterfall near this temple formed by the water coming out of Gupt Ganga. It's a believed that by taking bath in this waterfall, people who suffer from serious diseases and are haunted by ghosts, get relief.

It is also said that King Puran Vasu had attained heaven , but he had no children. Lord Indra advised him to take  bath in Akshara Kund and sent him to earth. King Puru bathed in Akshara Kund and later on he and his wife got four sons. According to this, childless married couples visit this waterfall and take a bath in the hope of having children.

Later we will proceed towards Chamunda. Check in to your pre-booked hotel & relax. In the evening visit Mata Chamunda ji or Chamunda Devi Temple. Perched amidst picturesque landscapes, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Chamunda, one of the most powerful forms of Goddess Durga. The remote location and the surrounding natural beauty create an atmosphere of serenity, making it a perfect place for introspection and rejuvenation. The temple’s distinct architecture and the echoes of devotional chants fill the air, creating an ambience that resonates with your heart’s quest for inner peace. Envelop yourself in the divine energy that permeates the untouched hills, offering a profound sense of spiritual upliftment that lingers long after you depart.

The temple is believed to be the abode of Shiva and Shakti. At the back of the temple there is a cave-like scoop where devotees can see Lingam under a boulder, which represents Nandikeshwar Lord Shiva. A vast running water pool houses the statues of Lord Shiva and Saraswati. Night stay at hotel in Chamunda.

Day 3

Bagla Mukhi - Amb Drop

After check out proceed towards Bagla Mukhi Ji. The shrine is dedicated to one of the Ten Mahavidyas of the Supreme Goddess as per Shaktism. Devotees visit the temple with hopes of getting their wishes fulfilled, cases won, exams passed or life otherwise to be happy and successful. It is said that anything asked for after performing homagni and hawan at the Bagla Mukhi temple is granted. The name Bagla mukhi comes from two separate Sanskrit words, 'Bagala' meaning 'bride' and 'mukhi' meaning 'face'. In essence, it translates to the deity having captivating and hypnotising powers in her face or herself which fights the evil away. It is said that yellow is the favourite colour of the goddess which is why the Baglamukhi Temple has been painted yellow in colour. All the worshippers of the Goddess wear yellow coloured clothes, and yellow sweets are offered to the deity.
