Day 1

Arrival - Chintapurni Bagla Mukhi Chamunda

Arrival and Spiritual Journey through the Sacred Shakti Peeths

Upon your arrival at the railway station, our representative will warmly receive you and escort you to your hotel. After freshening up, we will begin our spiritual journey with a visit to the revered Maa Chintpurni Dham.
Maa Chintpurni Dham (Una, Himachal Pradesh)

Located in Chhaparoh village atop the Solah Singhi hill range in Una district, this ancient temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peeths of India. It is believed that the feet of Mata Sati fell here when Lord Vishnu, in an effort to calm Lord Shiva’s grief and rage, used his Sudarshan Chakra to sever Sati’s body into pieces. Each spot where her body parts fell became a sacred Shakti Peeth.

The name “Chintpurni” literally means “the remover of worries.” Devotees flock here to seek the blessings of the goddess and to experience spiritual solace by touching the lotus feet of the divine mother. The temple radiates an aura of ancient sanctity, and the unwavering faith of countless devotees makes it a powerful place of worship.

Maa Baglamukhi Temple
Next, we head towards the temple of Maa Baglamukhi, one of the Ten Mahavidyas of the Supreme Goddess as per Shaktism. This temple is especially revered by devotees seeking divine intervention in legal matters, academic success, and life challenges. It is believed that prayers offered here—especially through homagni and hawan rituals—are granted without fail.

The name “Baglamukhi” is derived from Sanskrit, where ‘Bagala’ means bride and ‘mukhi’ means face, symbolizing the goddess’s mesmerizing and protective power. Yellow is considered her favorite color—hence, the temple is adorned in yellow, and worshippers wear yellow attire and offer yellow sweets during rituals.
The temple becomes particularly vibrant during festivals like Navratri, Guru Purnima, and Vasant Panchami, with special pujas and aartis performed with great devotion.

Chamunda Devi Temple (Chamunda)
After darshan at Baglamukhi, we will proceed to Chamunda, where you’ll check in to your pre-booked hotel and unwind for a while. In the evening, we’ll visit the Chamunda Devi Temple, nestled amidst the scenic hills and serene landscapes.

Dedicated to Goddess Chamunda, a fierce form of Goddess Durga, the temple is both spiritually and naturally enriching. The remote setting and lush surroundings provide a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for reflection and rejuvenation. The temple's distinct architecture, the hum of devotional chants, and the surrounding natural beauty create a deeply immersive spiritual experience.

Behind the temple lies a cave-like structure that houses a Lingam under a boulder, representing Nandikeshwar Lord Shiva. There is also a large sacred pool with statues of Lord Shiva and Goddess Saraswati, offering a tranquil space for devotees.

Enjoy a night’s stay in Chamunda, embracing the serenity and divine energy of the region.

Day 2

Brajeshwari Devi - Jwala Ji - Una

🌄 Morning: Visit to Shree Nagarkot Vajreshwari Devi Mandir (Mata Brajeshwari Devi Shaktipeeth)

We will drive towards Kangra to visit the sacred Nagarkot Dham, also known as Shree Vajreshwari Devi Temple. This Shaktipeeth holds great spiritual significance, where devotees believe that just a glimpse of Devi Vajreshwari can relieve them of all suffering.

  • Primary Deity: Goddess Vajreshvari (Bajreshwari)

  • Sacred Pindis in the Garbhagriha (Sanctum):

  1. Mata Bajreshwari – the main pindi
  2. Mata Bhadrakali
  3. Mata Ekadashi – the smallest pindi

  • Historical & Spiritual Significance:
The temple is associated with the legendary devotee Dhyanu Bhakt, who offered his head to the goddess. His followers visit the temple dressed in yellow attire to show devotion and receive blessings.

  • Major Festival:
Makar Sankranti (second week of January) is celebrated with great devotion.
According to legend, after slaying Mahishasura, the Devi sustained injuries. To heal, she applied butter to her body. Even today, during this festival, the Pindi is covered with butter for a week. Devotees take this blessed butter, believed to cure skin diseases.

🛕 Later: Visit to Jwala Ji
After darshans we will drive towards Jwala Ji Shaktipeeth, it is a famous temple of Goddess Jawalamukhi located in the Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh. The primary deity worshipped here is believed to be the manifestation of the Goddess Sati with flaming mouth. Here Maa Bhagwati is present in the form of a Paawan Jyoti. Five Aartis are performed here regularly. During Chaitra Aswin Navratras and Shrawan Months there will be huge rush of devotees to this temple. Tuesdays and Fridays are very special and special poojas are performed here.

🛣️ Evening Drive Towards Una
After darshan at both holy sites, we will head towards Una for an overnight stay.

Day 3

Una - Naina Devi Darshan- Anandpur Sahib Drop

In the morning drive Towards Naina Devi Shaktipeeth for about 1.5 hours. Nestled atop a picturesque hill at an elevation of 1219 meters in the Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Naina Devi Ji Shaktipeeth is one of India's most revered spiritual destinations. This sacred temple, built in the 8th century by Raja Bir Chand, is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, where it is believed that the eyes (Naina) of Devi Sati fell, making the site deeply significant in Hindu mythology.

Reaching the Temple
Your spiritual journey begins with a scenic drive through winding mountain roads, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas and Gobind Sagar Lake. The temple is perched on a triangular hillock, and pilgrims can choose from multiple ways to ascend:

  • By foot: A series of well-constructed stairs lead you to the temple.
  • By road: Vehicles can take you up to a certain point, followed by a short climb.
  • By ropeway: For a unique and comfortable experience, a ropeway service is available that takes you directly to the hilltop while offering panoramic views.

Temple Premises and Darshan
After entering through the main gate, you’ll immediately notice a sacred Peepal tree on your left, under which devotees often pause for a moment of prayer. Directly opposite stand the statues of Lord Ganesha and Lord Hanuman, symbols of protection and blessings.

Approaching the main sanctum, you are welcomed by two majestic lion statues, guardians of the goddess. Inside the sanctum, the divine energy is palpable. The three primary idols are:

  1. Kali Devi on the left
  2. The Eyes of Shakti in the center – the essence of Naina Devi
  3. Lord Ganesha on the right

The pathway to the temple is lined with vibrant stalls selling prasad, souvenirs, religious items, and local handicrafts, adding a cultural charm to the pilgrimage.

Devotion and Significance
Naina Devi Shaktipeeth is especially crowded during Navratri and other auspicious Hindu festivals, drawing thousands of devotees from across the country. The atmosphere resonates with chanting, bells, and a profound sense of devotion.

Whether you're a spiritual seeker or a traveler exploring the divine landscapes of Himachal, a visit to Shri Naina Devi Ji is a powerful experience—a blend of devotion, natural beauty, and historical legacy.

After Darshan: Journey to Anandpur Sahib Railway Station
After experiencing the divine darshan at Shri Naina Devi Ji Shaktipeeth, and soaking in the spiritual energy of this sacred site, you will begin your descent from the hilltop. Whether you choose to walk down the steps, take the ropeway, or drive back, the return is as scenic and peaceful as the journey up.

From the base of the hill, a comfortable 1-hour drive will take you to Anandpur Sahib Railway Station. The route winds through the serene hills and countryside of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, offering a calm and reflective end to your pilgrimage.

At Anandpur Sahib Station, you can catch your return train, carrying with you memories of a spiritually enriching journey and the blessings of Maa Naina Devi.
